In our busy world, it’s so easy to just rushed things off and to put something that you think will work just fine. However, there is something about looking chic that can make you feel confident about yourself.
Personally, when I dressed well I feel like I can face the world without any worries. When I have time, I play around with styling to find what suits me the most and I suggest that you should too.
Knowing your style that suits you the most, can help you understand what outfits go along perfectly, and be able to look your best with a little bit of effort.
Here are the tips that can make you leave your house you feeling chic at the same time effortless.
1. Roll It Up
Rolling up your sleeves make you look more put together like that outfit was meant to be yours all along. Plus, with the right accessories, it can make you look expensive. Another tip is to roll up your pants. Rolling up your pants can emphasize your shoes and it can make it look amazing.
2. Tuck It In
Even if it’s just a simple outfit, tucking in your shirt can make you more polished and put together. What’s great about it is that once you tucked in your shirt, it can make you look a lot taller with the use of high waisted pants, shorts, and skirts.
3. Accessories
A simple rule is don’t forget to wear accessories, wearing accessories are important because they can set you apart and it transforms your style. Especially when you’re wearing basic outfits. I suggest investing in versatile pieces that you can wear every day and will go along with every outfit.
4. Type of Bag
Matching your bag with the rest of your outfit is also an important part to look chic and put together. The perfect finishing touch to every outfit is the bag and if it perfectly goes along with your outfit, it creates the “chic” look.
5. Lipstick
Wearing lipstick to me is the quickest makeup tip to make yourself feel better. Wearing it can make you feel like you’re ready to go and it just adds a certain level of sophistication.
6. Nails
As much as possible, always keep your nails clean and never leave your house with dirty nails or chipped nails. It’s because it can give people the impression that you’re untidy. You can also use a nail polish that is closer to your nail color therefore it won’t be that obvious when you have chipped nails.
7. Invest In Timeless Pieces
Invest in classic and simple basics like denim, a skirt, and a classic tee. Which you think that you’re always going to have in your closet and is never going out of style. Also, an important reminder is that it should look like it was tailored for you.

8. No More Than 3 Colors
Making sure that your outfit has no more than 3 colors, can make your outfit have some variety but not too overboard. The combination I used all that time is having two neutrals and one accent color. The neutrals serve as the base and the accent gives the personality or the pop to your outfit.
9. Plan Your Outfits
You can look for outfit inspiration on Pinterest. I find that planning your outfits has a lot of benefits, not only can it save you time but through it, you can establish your style. Thus, having a style that you look beautiful in, can make you feel good about yourself.
What I do to find outfit inspiration is I search through Pinterest and save the outfits that I like in my gallery. Then if I’m running out of ideas I could just scroll through my phone.
10. Shoes
Shoes are amazing; they can transform an outfit and can take it to the next level. The key here is to try different combinations and see what looks good on you. Instead of wearing the same shoes most of the time, sometimes try to switch things up.
