However, love finds you when you go out into the world, so start chasing your dreams and do what you love. As long as you put yourself out there, you might meet the person whom you’re looking for. Before entering a relationship, you need to know yourself first. Be aware of your values, and your likes and dislikes. Knowing this will prevent you from entering a relationship with the wrong person, who doesn’t respect your values in life or a relationship that will make you change yourself just to him or her love you.
There are times when there is a void in our hearts, it makes us feel empty and sad. It feels so overwhelming when you don’t know how to deal with it. But, no matter what don’t fill the void in your heart with what you think is love, it will only lead to long-term pain. Instead commit to loving yourself, by doing so you’ll be able to appreciate and treasure what you have, and you’ll be able to learn how to be content with yourself.
2. Prevent the Feeling of Being Trapped
Feeling trapped in an unhappy relationship can be suffocating, and people will give many excuses just to stay even though the relationship is already toxic. The truth the reason why they chose to stay in a relationship is fear. The fear of not finding love, or the fear of loneliness that they tried so hard to avoid. Another is denial, which would try so hard to cling to hope and by believing in broken promises.
This is why it is so important not to rush in a relationship. Get to know the person first, and even if takes time, the right person would wait for you. Find someone who values you and would never harm you emotionally and physically. If you find yourself feeling trapped, please feel free to leave, because by doing so you are setting yourself free from all the pain you are experiencing.
Remember, that a great relationship will enhance your individual life, where you would support one another, and will never hinder you from soaring high.
3. Less Dramas in Life
A relationship full of dramas can be exhausting too. Like when a person they’re dating isn’t over his or her ex. Yet, they enter a relationship where the other person is ready to be in but they are not. Instead, they are using this relationship to move on or to make their ex jealous. Or when they entered a new relationship when they just came out of a bad breakup and are still carrying their emotional baggage.
Before entering a new relationship make sure that your heart is ready to love and your intention is pure. If you’re not yet ready, don’t enter a new relationship because you’ll be lying to yourself and you might hurt the other person.

By exploring different places and having raw experiences that you’ll enjoy. Lastly, traveling is cheaper compared to having a plus one.
6. The Decision Is Yours to Make
When in a relationship, the decision isn’t always yours to make, you have to coordinate with another person to work it out and ensure both sides are pleased with the decision. But by being single there’s no pressure to “make it work” and the decision is yours to make.
