Journaling is a great way to know yourself better. It is a time of self-reflection that allows you to explore your true feelings and thoughts in regard to the different aspects of your life. It allows you to look back in life and see what things have changed, and the things you could do to improve yourself.
It also provides an outlet, for you to freely express what you feel and get everything out of your chest. Which will help you work out solutions and gain a new perspective on your situation.
At first, I thought that journaling could be time-consuming and isn’t worth my time. However, once the pandemic started I started to feel so empty and I felt like my life isn’t leading to where I want it to be. Added to that, there is a constant fear of losing the people that are closest to me because of the pandemic.
During this period, I became so busy and lost, that I started to forget who I truly am. Until, I’ve started reading personal development books and journaling, and because of this I realized that it isn’t a waste of time but it helped me get my life back on track. It also helped me to know myself better. Although I still have a long way to go and much more lessons to learn in life.
This is why I am truly recommending to start journaling as early as now, and I promise you that once you start you’ll discover new things about yourself.
